How does hypnosis access the subconscious mind (like no other)?

The subconscious mind is a mysterious place. In fact, it is often better described by the less-used term "unconscious" mind. The term "unconscious" more aptly describes the influence of repressed and suppressed thoughts on the behaviour of the individual. It happens completely beneath the person's awareness.
Firstly, let's define repression and suppression. These two aspects of our past experiences are the reason for the vast majority of our behaviour patterns. The problem is that we are not aware of what we have RE-pressed or SUP-pressed.
Repression is the unconscious storing of experiences into the recesses of our mind. Something happens to us that may have been negative OR positive, and we automatically shelve the feelings and reactions we have after they slip out of our short term or medium term memory. We do this because life continues to present experiences to us, which we must deal with. Then we forget about what just happened, and how we felt about it. Yet we continue to be driven by urges that are out of our control based off the feelings and memories that are now beneath our awareness.
Suppression is exactly the same as repression, except that there is some conscious effort to forget or stop thinking about whatever it is that has happened to us, for whatever reason. Repression is automatic and natural, suppression is more deliberate.
Either of these actions are classified as defence mechanisms, aimed at protecting us from negative emotions such as guilt, shame or fear. Thus, when a similar trigger to the original experience happens, we find ourselves acting impulsively in response to it. Or, perhaps, we have to fight the urge to react in a certain way.
These repressed and suppressed thoughts can drive unwanted behaviours such as smoking, overeating, or alcohol consumption. They can lead to an overactive sex drive, or a desire for social isolation, or than can prompt individuals to seek out certain careers, or to abandon others, or even to continually change jobs or move houses, or end relationships.
The best way is to be aware of how it all started. Then we can decide if we want to continue living the same as we've always lived, or to actually change our lives for the better. Pretty easy choice, isn't it?
Becoming aware of our unconscious thoughts is possible through hypnosis.
In a hypnosis session, whether it be a past life regression or a current life regression, we can find these triggers and heal them, transforming our thinking and removing these destructive triggers from our lives forever. Hypnosis allows us to gently set aside the conscious mind, and find out what is really causing those behaviours and emotions that we don't want in our lives.
Sometimes these blocks or triggers are stronger than we realise. Therefore it may take more time to get to the bottom of things. That is understandable.
Enough probing on a single issue, and we can find the root cause of a problem and heal it. Soul Pattern and Belief Readings are VERY good for this, as they mix modalities and build on each other.
Bringing the unconscious thoughts and desires to the conscious mind is, in my experience, the most powerful way to heal and to live a more peaceful and prosperous life.
