What in the world is this world?

It’s the great existential question that won’t leave some of us alone.

Where are we? What exactly is the Earth?

For many, this place we’re living in is just that — a place. Somewhere they were born. A location on a globe, or a realm of sorts, or perhaps a rock in space, depending on what they were taught. Life unfolds day by day — work, play, relationships, food, rest — and now and then, a passing thought about “what comes after.”

But for others — maybe for you — that’s not enough.

There's perhaps something inside of you that is yearning to get out. Something unspoken, unheard, and not felt deeply, or at all. Something that you wish you could name and get to know better.

For some of us, that's our life. In a nutshell.

Some of us can’t help but ask the deeper questions. We wonder not just what comes after, but what came before. We sense there’s more going on than meets the eye — more than this physical layer, more than the story we were handed. If that’s you, read on.

A few thoughts, from my experience and the work I do:

  • If you feel like you don’t fit in — maybe that’s not a problem. Maybe the question is, what are you trying to fit into? You’re not here to blend in. You’re here to stand out — to shine, even if others don’t understand it at first.

  • If you feel unsure of your role, your purpose — don’t despair. That’s not a flaw, it’s a signal. It’s time to go deeper. Do the work. That means confronting your shadow, exploring your inner landscape, and starting to listen to the parts of yourself you’ve ignored. Hypnosis can help here — it’s one of the most powerful tools I know for accessing your own truth.

  • Focus on what’s already good in your life. Not out of false gratitude or denial — but because clarity and peace don’t come from chasing what’s missing. They come from honouring what’s already here.

  • Go back, fearlessly, and heal. Heal the past. Rewrite it. Reclaim it. There are techniques for this, and they work — I’ve witnessed it time and time again, in clients and in myself.

When you do this work — when you begin to remember who you are — something shifts.

You don’t just see the world more clearly. You start to feel it. To know it.

And then, the great question — What is this world? — doesn’t haunt you so much anymore. Because knowing yourself is the key to knowing everything else.

That’s what I believe. And it’s what I’ve lived.
